Well, it was a freeroll, so I had nothing to lose. I was told going into the tourney that it would be T5000 starting with 25/50 30 min rounds... suprise, it was 15 min rounds!!! 25/50, 50/100, 100/200, 200/400, 500/1000, 2k/4k!!!

That's as far as I got, and I went out in 17th place! Seems like there's never going to be a good long tourney that I can take part in around here. My ideal tourney:

T5000 or T10,000
30 min rounds
25/50, 50/100, 100/200, 200/400, 300/600, 400/800, 500/1k, 1/2, 2/4, etc.

That would be 3 hours of play and the blinds would still be 10% of a starting stack or so...

Anyway, the new Dealers Choice (Deuces Wild) room is nice. See ya~

I was planning on making it up there until the Wifey reminded me of the Michigan game on this morning at 10AM. I was also thinking it was going to be at noon or later in the afternoon, however when I was up there last night, I noticed it was at 10.

In the session I had last night, there was a lot of talk about the rounds, the blinds, etc. and I thought to myself, 'these guys are fighting it out for 11K, don't rush it, give them a few hours to battle it out', but apparently, it was a speed poker tourney.

Sorry to have missed it and was not able to be there to support your efforts. Sorry that you were snapped off as well. I was hoping to see someone I know shake it down.

Too bad Kid. Hope you can say you played your A game, that's about all you can ask.

I have no problem doing a tourney in the format you "prefer", if we can get enough peopple interested in doing a longer haul tourney. I want to try that as well.
