This message was posted by the editors at WOOD Magazine (The Worlds Leading Woodworking Resource), a Meredith Corporation publication.

We are actively looking for rooms to feature in our next edition of Man Caves, which will be on newsstands in January of 2014. Our first issue featured 15 caves with themes including motorcycles, sports, home theaters, beer-can collectors, and more. Some of the best-received bits in the magazine were not the big overviews of the spaces, but the “here’s how you can do this” projects such as painting an old frig, showing how a custom neon sign is made, how a bar or storage was built, or how repurposed items were transformed for display or for use. So even if someone doesn’t feel they have a suitable cave, they may very well have some tips to share on making or building an item for a cave. Here’s a page with some photos and article descriptions:

Dream Garages and Great Garage Makeovers are similar in concept to Man Caves, but focused on garages. So any great garage, whether used for wrenching on race cars, for ping-pong tournaments, or for showing off a sign collection is fair game.
