I thought it would be good to compare notes on what is available currently, although my information may not be recent.

Lucky Derby, Citrus Heights:

Blinds: $2/$5
Buy in: Min. $100, Max. $200
Rake: $4
Frequency: Every day.

It used to have a maximum bet of $200 but I think they have rescind that to make it a true no limit.

Dealer's Choice, Auburn:

Blinds: $2/$3
Buy in: Min./Max. $100
Rake: $3?
Frequency: Not sure.

Lots of free food and soft drinks.

Cameron Park:
Black Sheep Casino

Wed Night $40 to $100 buy in. $1/2 blinds. $5 bring in.
Saturday Night $40 to $200 buy in. $2/4 blinds. No bring in.
Most other nights you can find a NL game running if there are the players to support it.

I've heard that Derby has a couple of bigger NL games going, but only on specific nights. Worm or Kid would probably be better informed on this.

You should all know about Jackson - pretty steady flow of 1/2 ($40-$100 buy) with 2/5 ($100-$200 buy) when there is interest. Rake 10% up to $4 (will take a dollar out of a $4 pot most of the time.)

Cache Creek (as of a few months ago anyway) 1/1/2, 4 bring $100 min/max buy.

Ace is right, Derby "Big" tourney has seized as of 8/31. I guess some of the players were getting out of control with the stakes being a lot higher ($2,000-$6,000 pots on average) and Kermit did not like the change in the atmosphere around his casino. He would either have to beef up security or attract some better/wealthier players that could TRULY handle the stakes.

He would also break the town with a game that big every week. There isn't enough money in the poker playing community within Sacramento to keep a game like that running (IMO).

Also, on the Delaer's Choice buy-in: The $100 max is a very loose rule and they often ask the table "if they mid" if someone requests to come in with more. never seen the table refuse a reasonable over. I think I saw a $200 "approved".
