Hey solring...Are introductions necessary? Do we know you???

Yeah, I suppose so...

I'm the newest member of the "clan", having been recruited by Hagar/Mark yesterday. I'll be attending my first official function on Saturday the 17th.

From what I've read on here, I'm likely to be the sucker at the table. I've only been playing poker regularly since October 2003, most of that time spent at the $0.50/$1 tables on Party Poker. In May, I moved to Folsom from Austin, Texas due to my job (essentially it was, "go to Sacramento, have a 75% chance of being promoted in September -or- stay in Austin, have a 75% chance of not having a job in September"...I chose Sacramento :? ). After moving out here, I decided I needed to expand my horizons and start playing live. So, I've played in one small tournament (coming in 17/40) and, when I went to Vegas last weekend, I played two sessions of $2/$4 at the Monte Carlo.

There is also Capitol Casino on 16th Street in Downtown Sacramento 916-446-0700 with about 7 tables. All Texas Hold Em with limits of 3-6. 4-8 and 9-18. I don't think they hold any tournaments though.

Sundown and River City have closed, I believe.
