Not right at this moment, but should I nail the 50 person tourney in a week or so, I'm heading to the WSOP main event.
In my session last night at Deuces Wild, I nailed quad Aces TWICE in a half hour, which put me on the list for the high hand / WSOP tourney.
This is the same tourney that the Kid free rolled into and was snapped off. I'm hoping i don't get snapped off and bag that tourney.
Otherwise, the session up there in the cash game was nothing but gravy. I started the night with $200, ran a few hands down, caught a few cards, got crushed in a few hands, and ended up re-buying at about midnight. I sat tight for a bit and waited for the right hands and put the smack down. I flopped the first quads, and didn't actually get paid much, because in their rules, both of your cards need to play, so I was holding A/9, the flop came A/A/A. I went all in and turned my cards up to kill the action on the table so the turn or river wouldn't counterfeit my 9 as my kicker. If any cards over a 9 came out, my high hand would not have qualified. Everyone folded around to me and I got my name on the HH list for the WSOP tourney.
About an orbit later, I'm in a late position and get A/9 again, I'm thinking I like this hand. I'm suited, so I jack up the bet, and get a few people out. Flop comes A/A/K, bet, raise, raise, I reraise. Turn is a Q, same thing, bet, raise, raise, reraise, and the river is the case ace. I end up showing it with about 600 in the middle and was called down and paid off by pocket K's and pocket Q's.
Finished the session off this morning at about 6AM with 3 racks of red, from a $400 buy in. Grabbed a cup of coffee, and rolled home and caught some sleep.
Now I get a call from the Kid who says he is jamming the $12/24 game like Smuckers over at the Capitol....
I need to learn how to play a tourney to lock up that WSOP seat.
