Has anyone played any of the Poker games for playstation? I just rented WSOP and am still forging an opinion. SO far it's OK. I am also wanting to try WPT. Both can be played online through your computer so you can play with friends without having to invite them to your house! Anyone....anyone at all!!

Only one I am interested in trying out is Stacked. Not sure if it is out yet. Although, if you play online, don't see much need for video games unless you can do some kind of tourney via online with standings etc.

Stacked is coming out in Feb of '06. What I mean by "online" is that you hook your playstation up to your computer via a network adapter and you can play other people all over the world. It's playstation to playstation. Not like being on UB or Poker Stars...etc.

But what is the difference between online accounts for play money and the playstation version? Only difference I see is I don;t have to buy a $200 PS to do it. Also, wouldn;t playing for nothing get pretty boring after a while?

Just trying to imagine playing online now for play money....almost impossible for me to do now. Nothing at risk so you don't truly play for keeps. JMO

The only difference is that you are playing on a PS2. And you are right....it is kind of boring playing for play money. Mainly I will be playing games like SOCOM3 and what not. Was just wondering if anyone had played any of the poker games. You can also play most sports games online as well.
