Not much but it's a win. I had my doughts at times cause my stack did get low. This tournament lasted way to long for the price but it was good practice.

Good job Pimp. It is a rush and a let down at the same time for me.

I have won a couple $5 and $10 S&G's on stars and after you win them it does seem like the first prize booty was too low for the time invested. I don't know what it is, I should just pony up the $20 or $40 for a bigger tourney like I do in our games but for some reason I am gun shy. Don't know if it's because of how online play is so erratic or I don't want to lose a big chunk of my roll in one tourney.

I am ready for the bigger payout though. We will see.

Thanks Hagar.

BK,

I agree with you about the rush/let down and $/hr. I just recently got my DSL from SBC and couldn't wait to get online and test it on something so I settled for poker. I haven't played online for sometime but it felt good to get back into it and fill in the lull periods.

Plus I've got my satelite feed in my office as well. With the wife asleep, ceiling fan on, nice cold drink, jerky, computer on playing a poker tournament with ESPN on the T.V...what could be better?

Good job fellas (refering back to BK new thread), it's good to see that I'm not the only one playing online.

It was late last night about 10p and I was wide awake so I decided to hit a sng so I chose the $5.50. It was a very tight crowd at first and then the rooks showed their faces. There was actually one guy that would hit just about anything on the river and he was taking out some good players (which I didn't mind). I just waited for the right hand and it happend to be with an AsJs. I was on BB so when this rook came in with a 3 x BB, I just called.

The flop came out 4s8sTd and I bet 6 x BB and he paused and then called.
The turn brings a 9s I check and he bets 10 x BB. I pause...............and call. The river brings a blank. I immediately check and he goes all in with QdJd and ofcourse I call to "take all his cheeps". The table went baserk. This guy was not making friends with his play and the gloating chatter afterwards. Anyway that was fun.

I went into the headsup match for 1st with about a 4 to 1 chip lead and couldn't see anything higher than a J3 and the other guy caught up and actually had me covered by a couple thousand with some very aggressive betting and reraising. I had respect for his bets and raises after watching him play for a couple of hours so I could only assume most of them were legit.

I then had my best hand, I was on BB and he raised it to $3,200 (I had about $10,000+) so with A4s I pushed and he called with Q9s. Two good headsup hands and he just happend to hit his 9 on the flop and it held.
I was satisfied with second.

haha I suck, but still had fun. Was a 4:1 chip underdog going into heads up. raised the guy about 80% of the time when I had the button and kept taking blinds. Would show the occasional AQ or TT in hope he was thinking that all of my raises were legit.

Sweet! Just made another final table in the $20+2 MTT on Full Tilt. Finished 5th out of 105 for $157.

Caught a couple bad beats to go from 3rd in chips to rail but it is always fun to be at a final table in big MTT. Great practice for getting through big fields.
