We’ll be announcing the price of the beta product when pre-orders open, in 2012.
Translation:
Price will be based on interest. Bullshit, what did it cost to make, mark it up and tell us what it costs. Don't tell us "if tons of people per-order it, you'll be paying $799.99 instead of the $59.99 it worth"
That being said, my daughter would eat it up.

Maybe I'm skeptical, but I don't see the need for that. The "thanks for the flowers" message could just be sent by text. Or you get a news article that contains two sentences and can't click for more.
A shopping list or agenda works well so you don't have to keep whipping out your phone, but I'm moving away from paper, not towards.
