I don't get exactly why you need bounty chips. What am i missing?
There is one kind of bounty tourney where everyone has a "bounty" on their head. When you take someone out, you get their bounty chip and then collect x$ per chip when the tourney is over.

When Dodger and I chopped the tourney at Cache Creek in January, we all had bounties. When all was said and done, we got $5 for every bounty chip (in this case it was a card) we held. I got like $75 extra (on top of the tourney win) for my bounty collection.

I don't really see us doing something like this since it takes away from the prize pool, but that would be the purpose of that many bounty chips.

The way we do the bounty @ my place is this:

Every player pays $20 to join the tourney. 10 players - $200 in teh prize pool. On top of the $20, each player puts in $5 for the "bounty". Everyone gets a bounty chip (in my case, I use $1 slugs from a slot machine). At the end of the game, the tourney is paid out, then the bounties are paid out from the other "pool" of money

This keeps the tourney prize pool seperate from the bounty money - and it adds a nice 'dimension' to the game.

I just ran some numbers on doing this for the big tourney coming up. I don't think that $50 out of the pool would wreck the payouts too bad and the winner, who is obviously the greatest affected would likely take at least 5 players out along the way and make up the lost payout money.

I think I'll give this a shot. I'll likely also have a voluntary High Hand Jackpot added on as well.

Yes Rob, I am gonna change stuff......

Why not keep the payouts where they are, and add $5 for those that want ot play in the bopunty hunt. It can be done on a player by player basis or on on a all players basis.

This really wouldn't work on a partial basis. No need to do an add-on cost for it - it doesn't change the payouts enough to mess with it.

You're just never happy are you?

$43 bucks for 40 of them, shipped. I think it was 80 cents / ea. plus shipping. I think they are cool for bounty's, card protectors, conversation pieces, chick magnets.... the list is never ending.
