Hey all BYOC'ers.

I'm gonna be up in the Grass Valley area next week house-sitting and dog-watching for my dad for a week... fun stuff. I'm sure I'll get pretty bored of Direct TV quickly, so I'm wondering if anyone knows if there's a card room up in the Grass Valley or Nevada City area? Anything will do, as long as it's reputable. I'm not expecting much more than a 3/6, but it's better than reruns on HBO... let me know if you know of anything. Thanks!

There is the "Dealers Choice" in Auburn - 2 or 3 table card room. There are other posts around to discribe the place.

I seem to remember a guy talking here about an Indian Casino in the Feather River area which had I think a NL game. http://www.featherfallscasino.com/

And last but not least:
http://www.grpoker.com/
Which is in "downtown" Grass Valley. (careful of the traffic jams there...)

The website for the Gold Rush Casino says they spread $50 Pot Limit hold'em on Friday nights. If that's true, then its probably the only card room in the Sac area to do so.
What do you wanna bet Quads buys a 2nd home in Grass Valley now? He gets more excited about Pot Limit than he does for chicks....

Not so far as I do with Women.... I loves me some pot limit, yes, but I do draw the line somewhere.

Gold Country Casino / Card Room in Grass Valley. I've driven by there (with the intentions of playing) and they were closed. This was some time back. I think they are open Tues - Sun. Call them and find out or check out thier web site.

I also heard an advertisement on 96.9 about them as well.

BW and I have a wedding to attend in Grass Valley this Sat, so i think we're gonna try out the Gold Rush Casino in Downtown Grass Valley. Their website claims that spread "low and Hi limit Holdem games". I guess we'll see. Supposedly they play a $50 PL game.
I'll try to come back with a trip report.

I heard the place closed down last month for a few weeks because it forgot to renew its license, but it is back open now.

Hey Kid, did you ever make it up to this place??
