Only thing I'm concerned about is, if some of the folks that shot last years' accuracy is anything to go by, those 2x4 are going to be a big pile of toothpicks before too long. :lol:
Crossbars are 78" across (so they fit in the bed of my truck)
Targets are attached with 12" 3/16 chains. I didn't bother going any bigger on the chain links because I figure a hit on a chain is probably going to break it regardless of how big it is.
Chains are attached to targets and crossbar with zipties rather than bolts. Cheaper and easier to replace if one gets hit. I have several spare chains and a hundred zipties.
I'll be spray painting them white and will bring that along so we can repaint them as needed.
maybe whoever breaks a chain or 2/4 has to throw some $$ in the resupply jar..
$5 bucks per chain and $10 bucks per leg. Of course that might just be looked at as a challenge by some.
