Place Holder- Walkout Basement Mancave in the Making

i guess life is what happens when i'm busy making plans. septic tank (under the knockout rose bush in the pics) collapsed in the spring. both kids got braces at the beginning of summer. replaced half the deck in June, wife finished up grad school in late july....

as of right now, the basement is basically a big laundry room. maybe by christmas i'll have it like i want it.

Only took a year to get it done...

Started by pulling up vinyl tile, then staining sealing and waxing concrete, refinishing the a/c return frame (cats had pushed on it and rusted the louver s), got some buffalo plaid curtains,hung some deer racks and a turkey mount, hung a tv, threw a couple rugs down.















Pool table finally came in. It’s used and has some cosmetic defects but really ties the room together and the kids enjoy it.







Spousal unit pleased with the stained concrete. Got a few more racks to put on the wall and a couple prints and I should be done for a while.
