![]() That's a regular windows computer inside. That's what I hung up against the back of the monitor with the velcro.
It is running a nintendo emulator called Nestopia which uses roms. |

![]() Crap... I don't know really.
LCD - scrap pile at work PC - older used machine from work, got at a good price Plywood - cheap pine since I knew most of it would be covered. $30 for a sheet I think. Laminate - left over from my tempest arcade. this shit is expensive. I don't remember what I paid for it but it was pricey. Side art - I paid $83 for it. That's a bunch of cash but in my opinion it is worth it, turns the entire thing from a junky built in my garage thing to actually looking somewhat legit. Controllers... probably averaged $15 each after shipping from ebay. Then the adapters were about $10 each I think. So basically $50 for those controllers. Red buttons for game list / reset were $19 for qty 6, so I have some left for another machine at some later date. Plus the interface for those, $10. Plexi to cover screen and marquee, probably around $30 but I would not be surprised if it could be sourced cheaper somehow I just go to HD and get raped. LEDs... i had them leftover but if you bought new probably $10. So... at this point we're around $250 in, not including laminate, pc, and other leftover stuff. Miscelaneous shop supplies extra (paint, screws, contact cement, bandages...) |
