Default Budweiser Red Lights

...but it's sold out already, dammit.

A spinning red goal light that uses a phone app and your local wifi to light up and roar every time your team (or teams) scores. Canada only, eh!

I've got this in stock at work for ya...

We used to have the regular goal light that worked on a small puck shaped remote but have been out since Christmas. They're pretty cool but the range on the remote is horrible...6-8 feet at best.

Dammit! I have been wanting this EXACT thing ever since I was a kid. Damn you Canada. Looks like I need to hop over to Windsor and set up a PO Box or something.

The Perfect Man Cave

Very cool concept, but am not sure it works all that well yet...

Will need one more game with it to form a better opinion (so long as the Habs score some goals)...

I was watching the Habs and Make Beliefs on Saturday on HNIC (my cable provider just added CBC in HD -- FTGDW) and saw this commerical.

Pretty damn sweet. I was wondering how it synced with the game.

I would definitely be interested, but I would set it up for a different team probably as I usually watch the caps via DVR. It's nice to fast forward through commercials and intermissions.

Is there NO WAY to do this via PC (or Mac)? Not so much the light, as I'm assuming you could get/build a spinning red light & buzzer pretty easily, but more the scoring/timing issue. Is there ANY Internet-based source that can give you an "immediate" scoring update via the web, or are they all delayed multiple seconds or minutes?

Just curious.

ESPN texts me every time the Wings score (and at the end of each period).

If you can set up a machine to give your dog a treat when you email him, then I'm sure you could easily set up code the lights a light when a text is received.
