Default Hold 'Em Tourney - It's been a while for me...

So it's been a good while since I've hosted a hold 'em tournament, and I was wondering if there is a free tournament director software out there that will help me out (clock, blind schedule, etc).

Also, what I a good starting chip count, and blind schedule? Like I said, it's been a minute since I've played in a tourney let alone hosted one.

That's what we use for our big tourneys. Lasts 5-6 hours with 4 full tables.
For a shorter tournament, start with 10K and go 20 minute blinds.
Antes optional, but will help speed up play.

30 day free trial, but I'd argue it is worth the $39 to purchase.

Blind Valet has a great program for creating tournaments.

I know I'm late to reply and am late to this thread, but I am new to this forum and just joined. I used to run tournaments and used to use "The Tournament Director" Software. I used it last used it 5 years ago when I ran my last tourney, but they still update are working on improvements and revision releases. You could do the 30 day Evaluation & then uninstall and reinstall it and download it again. However the price is worth it because you can save player information.
