I'm looking for plan ideas that I can customize. I have a projector and screen and am looking to do twin racks to sit on either side of the screen. I don't want them to be more than 3 or 4 feet tall, as the taller they are, the more the light off the screen reflects off them and is distracting. I'd paint them a flat black. I'm thinking basically a 3 or 4 shelf system, with doors, maybe with stereo speaker felt covering the doors so that the IR signals from my remote will pass through. Or maybe speaker screening. Some incorporated slide out racks for dvds would also be nice. Anyone do anything like this?
