You know what I"m talking about. Green beans, cream of shroom soup, fried onions. Maybe some cheese and bacon if you're feeling sassy.

Who's in? Fess up. I hate the shit. My wife is from North Dakota and doesn't think it's Thanksgiving if there's no green bean casserole...

I'm no fan of GB cass. The wife makes it every year. I'm the only one who won't touch it. I just find it nasty. But by not eating the GB cass, I make room for more turkey, ham, mashies, and sweet potatoes.

My mom does up the best sweet potatoes. They are mashed with a ton of cinnamon and topped with tiny marshmallows, that are then browned, like a toasted marshmallow!!! Best evar!

My MIL tried to make 'Gourmet' GBC one year. Made a white sauce with wild fresh picked mushrooms (the FIL was a shroomer before he died. it was the only thing he and I were ever able to do before he got sick). Harcort Vert french green beans from the Farmers Market. The whole magilla. THEY WERE HORRIBLE!!!! It's now a running joke amongst us.

Sometimes the best stuff is the whit trash versions...
