I was a busy boy today.

First I made my Mom's rich meaty spaghetti sauce.

2 medium yellow onions chopped
1 1/2 bulbs of garlic
various cans of tomato sauce, paste, crushed, diced. wht ever you like and have.
1 1/2lbs of ground beef cooked drained
1 lb of Italian sausage cooked, sliced, if links,
basil to taste
pepper to taste
salt to taste

what ever else you want....
Throw in a croc pot or stovetop - simmer for a few hours.

After the red sauce,

I prepared a pork should - Boston Butt for smoking tomorrow:

Nothing special here...

various amounts of everything you see.... mostly sugar, paprika and chili powder. Lesser amts of the rest. I will post some picks of tomorrow's work.

So, what is the difference between Hungarian Paprika and regular paprika? Never seen it before. BTW, Great job on the sauce. I'll have to make mine now. Love some spaghetti.

This is so not what the thread title implies...

Thankfully.

Pond,
Hungarian Paprika is a hotter/smokier more intense spice.

Isn't the hungarian paprika considered a "sweet" paprika?

My wife knows her way around the kitchen pretty well. That said, she can't make spaghetti. Always makes it too dry (not enough sauce).

Could be worse, he could have said he rubbed his tenderloin and made a white sauce
