In Laws are redoing the family farm house and moving back to the farm, and he's building in a man cave.
Interesting house, it has been in the family for 2 generations. My father in law grew up in it with 4 brothers and 1 sister. They had a second kitchen in the basement that his mom would move everything into every summer to stay cooler. The stories my wife's grandfather can tell, wow you don't know work until you see what they use to do back then. He remembers farming with horses, and now he can sit in a tractor that's driven by a satellite in space. Next time I'm there I'll take a shot of a silo he dug into the ground, it's 12.5' dia. and about 24' deep. He dug it by hand. They used buckets to pull the dirt up. I asked him how long it took to dig, he thought maybe about a week. Oh then they used bricks and morter along the side.
Anyway house is under a total redo, with the new man cave to be in the basement of the new addition.
I'll keep pictures up during construction, and updates as they come available.

Depending on the final dimensions of the room, they may put in a small store room, he's thinking a overhead projection system, with full surround sound. I'm up for any and all ideas you guys want to add.
