So like I've mentioned in other threads, we are remodeling out family room early next year, and I need to pick out a TV, and so far I've heard nothing but good things about the Kuro line from Pioneer.
Do any of you have one of these? Are they really the end all be all of HD displays? Is it really worth the extra dough (as opposed to a Panasonic)?
TV's I'm considering:

Pioneer Kuro PDP-5020FD (http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-tvs/pioneer-kuro-pdp-5020fd/4505-6482_7-33002523.html?tag=contentMain;contentBody)
From what I've read on the AVS forums regarding these two TV's, the Pioneer is hands down the best choice, even for the extra chedda.
