View Full Version : 7' Dealer Position Poker Table
This one we did for someone over on CT that, well, got fucked over in a bad way by another builder.
Nothing spectacular, but I love doing the dealer positions like this... The sheet was not for the pictures but to keep cat prints off the dining top in the background.

Top notch work... Wait, I think I got fucked over on a table too... when will mine be ready for pickup?

Only if you had to wait 1 year to find out you were not getting a table you paid for in full, nor getting all of your money back at one time!

How'd you know? That is *exactly* what happened...

Very clean work guma! Hopefully that other builder will get his shit together and make good on his promises. I'm not holding my breath though! The CT member is very lucky to have this table! :)

I do to, from what I understand he is a good guy, but that seems be tarnished beyond repair now.
Thanks for the compliments. I gotta build a crate today for this thing. A first for me, and just a little unsure of how to build it.

Nice work Guma, I like the leather-looking edge banding. I've been checking that thread every now and then to see if this dude ever got his money back, doesn't look good. At least he's got a sweet table now!

A very tight & well-executed table to be sure. Beautiful attention to that dealer spot. Too bad about it having folding banquet legs; it deserves some nice peds. And now I havta ask: who's the charletan builder who ruined a member of one of our prized customer groups?

Believe the name was Acesandfaces... There is a nice long thread over in the Table section about it. I will see if I can dig it up later for ya.

Yeah, it was aces. Weird how he just decided to screw this dude over, after many seamless transactions. All the dealings I had with him went fine, and he seemed like he was genuinely a good guy.
He definitely fucked over booyahD though (the guy that Guma built this table for)
Table came out great Guma!
Thanks for all the compliments guys!
Table went out today. Built my first crate, and I gotta say, it was kind of fun. Came out pretty good too!

I like the form fitting inserts in the crate, nice and snug.

Pull up a comfy chair, it's 15 pages long...
We actually ended up wrapping more foam around the small blocks as well. That table will not move inside that crate... knock on wood!
