Adams shipped me 10" unbored peds instead of the 8" ones I asked for; no biggie though.

I've never done a stretcher build and have also never had to bore my own holes in the peds.
Using Adams 10" unbored peds (https://www.adamswoodproducts.com/configure.asp?cat=67) with Adams M/L 3-Toed Ped legs (https://www.adamswoodproducts.com/configure.asp?cat=203): how much clearance do you allow for the ped to clear the floor?

I've determined the center-line for the ped, for each bore, but I need to determine height.

somewhere around 4" to 6" seems to ring in my head.

Took a look online and their page (https://www.adamswoodproducts.com/configure.asp?cat=151&display=true) shows the lion's claw feet's lower profile line pretty much in-line with the lower line of the ped panel you attach em to.

Seems about right. I rested a 2"x4" beneath one of the peds and held the lion's claw foot so that it's lower (floor-touching) surface was flat to the ground, and this is where things lined up (like the Adams webpage pic).

Do you have a copy of their catalog? They have detailed dimensions of where the holes are located for their bored pedestals, as well as the dimensions for the legs.

For 10" peds, the first hole is 3.75" from the bottom of the pedestal, then the second is 3" from the first hole (centerline dimensions). The legs stand 9.875" tall and it looks like the top hanger bolt should be drill in 1.75" from the top of the leg, so there should be about 1.375" between the floor and the bottom of the pedestal.

if you check out my "spalted maple octagon" thread there is a photo series of how to do it.
