P-stars has a tab for Badugi. Its a lowball (I think triple draw) game using 4 cards. Anyone heard of this?

One of the pro's books mentioned that this was one of their favorite games. I really don't remember anything about it, other than it seemed pretty complicated at the time. Maybe Antonio Esfandiari's book???

this game is awesome... its a triple draw game where you get dealt 4 cards and a "badugi" is 4 non suited cards. The object of the game is to make the lowest 4 card non suited hand A,2,3,4 all offsuit is the nuts. any 4 non suited cards beat any hand with suited cards which makes the 3rd round of drawing risky if you already have a non suited hand or a "badugi" and are trying to draw to a better one. I tried playing this at my home game but people never got into it, I think it is a lot of fun though and for sure one of my favorites if i can ever get anyone to play. You can learn the game easily in a couple rounds if theres a low limit online jump in I guarantee youll like it if you dabble in non holdem games.

Morning, if you've got a dealer's choice game going you might want to try Cantrell also. Everyone gets four down cards, throws one away, turns one over and from then on it's 7-card stud. We play it high/low split and it's a blast. Used to be part of the dealer's choice game at my local bowling alley/card room, and it became so popular they started a night strictly for Cantrell. The only downside is that you can only play it with 7 people or less.

I'll try cantrell as well, I need to build up the arsenal for the times certain players throw other screwy games in. Thanks!
