I bought this last night - got a great deal off craigs list

Photo from RBI's website - I got the model on the left.

It's an RBI Hawk Scroll saw.
I'm going to make some cool shit (puzzles, boxes, Christmas Ornaments, etc) and sell some for a little extra $$. Does anybody else use a scroll saw much?
I figure this will keep me busy with fun projects and any money I make would kick ass.

For a really cool scroll saw project check these out:

I have the plan for the 'Serpentine' from this site somewhere. Haven't completed one yet though. http://www.wooden-gear-clocks.com/

This site also has some REALLY elaborate ones: http://www.lisaboyer.com/Claytonsite/Claytonsite1.htm

The celestial orrery one is sick.

Went into the local Woodcraft the other day and someone had completed a clock on a stand. Very cool and makes me want to start one again (or course I'll have the shopbot cut my gears, etc. instead of doing it on the scrollsaw, it's cheating but at least the thing will work when it's done. Unlike if I tried to cut them myself.)

I was just drooling over that clock. It kicks all kinds of ass. I was thinking of getting in some practice then making it.
I told my wife about your shopbot lastnight actually. Said that's next on my list. :)
