That might be sweat! Those things are hot enough to kill your average Mexican, let alone us gringos!!

Here's mine, or well at least a portion of mine. Too busy to convert the entire area over to the raised beds this year, but the results from the few plants I do have has been great! This year I planted zucchini, banana peppers, jalapeno peppers, cucumbers, & 4 different kinds of tomatoes.
Planting back in May/June

They've filled in a little now :D

Everything is doing well except the zucchini (bottom right), must have gotten a few worms, they're just about toast.

Nothing like Aust's harvest, but I'll take it.

Picked our first tomatoes today (mostly plums), can't wait to get enough to make some homemade sauce!

nice...almost makes me want to have a garden....but not quite. I will just buy my produce at very reasonable costs from the mennonites at the Saturday farmers market.

I'd still "punish" myself with some homemade salsa, and a few other tasty treats. I'll have to try this out next spring.

Hey Aust what kind of soil amendments are you using? Are you doing strictly organic?

I am not strictly organice. I use pressure treated pine for the boxes, which in itslelf makes me non organic... I try to stay as organic as possible, but if I have to save a crop by spraying, then I will, but I prefer not too.
I use mushroom compost, there is a mushroom farm here in town that produces the crap by the ton, they sell it for $5 a truckload (ANY TRUCK). So I take my trailer down there, fill it up, and shovel it into the beds at least once a year.. Awesome stuff. In fact, it is actually a soil less garden, the boxes were built on grade, and filled with compost. I added a little builders grade sand for structure..
The mushroom farm, and their compost pile.. (they even fill your trailer for you)
