Helmets can be shipped by whatever method you prefer, but USPS flat rate boxes are only 5.5" tall, so those won't work.

I have a use for one of those. But can you get a face shield thing-a-ma-jig for either one? I worry about blood splatter.

Yes, you can get a variety of styles and designs for most helmets.

Primarily, you're looking for either a half-visor, to keep blood out of the eyes:

...a full-visor/shield, preventing many blunt attacks:
