I knew there had to be a place on the net for a Garage Dweller like me, and I’ve finally found it!
I humbly submit my Man Cave, sometimes referred to as The Lucky Buckeye Garage.
As you can probably tell, it took millions of dollars to finance and many, many lives to construct. It features stereo/CD/DVD, cable, and usually a keg in the fridge. Darts, farts and a proprietary 24 hour fratistatical resistor designed to keep those pesky wolverines out, all while still maintaining its functional garaginess.
I usually keep the practice putting mat out to keep my deft stroke in a highly tuned state, and speaking of tunes, on Friday and Saturday nights there’s generally a guitar hanging on the wall to take advantage of the sonic perfection that the neighbors have yet to complain about.

JBK :)

You don't list your location, but I'm guessing its not Ann Arbor...

Is that storage above the fridge, or just a drywalled soffit?

Looks good.

I'll have you know that I built this entertainment center using the harmony and principles of the Daiku Dojo?

Just a drywalled soffit and an encased beam, which hold up the hopes of the Princess that someday her husband will grow up.

I failed to mention that since these photos were taken I've installed ceiling fans.

Thanks again guys! Love the site.

Quads, the last few weeks, my alter ego “Raoul The Poolboy” has been focused on getting the pool up to speed. Cleaning the pool, testing the pool, blah, blah, blah… Sometimes I have to remind myself I enjoy the thing.

Eventually I hope to turn my focus to the basement, which is a real barbarian’s pit by comparison with not much more than stereo and TV and cinder block. I’m getting some great ideas right here and the motivation will come eventually.

Happy belated Birthday to the wifey by the way. :p

Welcome, JBK.

Tour the forum -- there's plenty to learn from -- and have some fun -- and plenty to distract you -- while you collect your thoughts.

Isn't there a forum rule requiring a team to win more than 8 football games over a two year period before they are eligible for avatar use?
