Ive been booted from my mancave in the basement nad now i gotta finish the garage. First thing that became very apparent is tHAT I GOTTA PUT SOME sort of flooring in there. Im thinking tile but its loud in there. I dont want real carpet cause its gonna get wet everyonce in a while. Any suggestions?

astroturf or industrial carpet. You can hose both of them down.

What about those carpet squares they use for some industrial applications? Real easy to install and pick up and store if you decide you want to go back to a garage again.

How about those 2' x 2' rubber tile square things? I've seen them before, but I don't know what they're called.

Spend the money on new locks and take back over your basement. Ship the invading party to the garage and let them worry about the carpet.
