The last day of my 2 car garages' life

http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad2/prwright2/IMG00027.jpg

Not allowed to remove door so they framed a wall in front of it with the excess left for a small storage area

http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad2/prwright2/IMG00028.jpg

My Uncle just removed my water heater from the area where he is standing...He wanted it moved because it would have been very difficult to get anything other than small furniture though the door...and to think the people i was gonna have do it previously wanted to put a tacky curtain over the furnace and water heater

http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad2/prwright2/IMG00029.jpg

Now the drywall is up for the back wall...that now covers up the garage door...

http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad2/prwright2/IMG00032.jpg

the cabinets and refrigerator from the first pic are now out...and the furnace is framed in

http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad2/prwright2/IMG00036.jpg

basically same pic with primer on now

http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad2/prwright2/IMG00040.jpg

water heater is now behind the back wall right in front of the garage door...an eyesore out of the way

http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad2/prwright2/IMG00043.jpg

carpet is now down and room is painted...you are looking at the back wall again ;)

http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad2/prwright2/IMG00051.jpg

tv is mounted now...components are laying around as of now...will get them shelved soon

http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad2/prwright2/IMG00046.jpg

furnace is now behind bi folding closet door framed in closet...with more than enough room to be serviced...

http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad2/prwright2/IMG00056.jpg

last but not least a look at the back wall from the tv...My uncle suggested i put two doors which was a great idea because on the right side is where the water heater is and the left side is an easier way to store stuff and to walk without the water heater in the way

Hope you enjoyed i had been looking though this site for ideas months prior to completion and it really gave me some ideas...thanx!!!

Awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Any other plans with the room? Poker table, game table, etc. Bar / tap / kegerator?

a few things here and there like a mini fridge and a shelf to hold all my games and blu rays...but no poker table or bar/ or tap as i dont play poker, i dont drink and and i dont invite alot of people over my house to hold a card game lol...i guess im boring...i really just built it as a family theater room i guess

No problem with that at all. It's your room, kick back in it as you wish.

Nice room! Love the color.

What are you doing w/ your car(s)? Another garage, or will they just stay outside?

sorry it took so long to reply i havent been on in a while...nevertheless they ran a vent right off of the furnace inside the closet and it puts out pretty well...It still doesnt get as hot or cold as the house but that could be due to the fact i need to insulate my attic which is right above the garage

and thanx for the compliments guys

Geez! I don't think I could make anything that complicated. That looks fantastic! Not sure if this was mentioned (and I'm sorry if I'm repeating this), but how long did this project take? Heck, I'm just lookin' to slap some posters up on my walls and do a little painting. Maybe I'll aim a little higher. :)

It took like a week and a half...it would have been shorter but my uncle got sick one day
