Looked a long time to find site like this when I first started doing up my basement, didn’t even know it was called a man cave at the time.

Well to make a long story short. Now that I am almost done (is a man cave ever finished?) not only do I find your site, but now have come to the grand conclusion that my Jungle Room is really missing something, despite the fact I still have a good few pictures left to put up.

Any helpful ideas would be gratefully appreciated. Did not put in a TV as I have the whole big screen thing in the living room.

OUtstanding! Nothing is missing unless you like poker. Then you need a poker table. If you don't, it's perfect!

Has anyone here made a poker table topper for a pool table? If you don't have floorspace for both, that might the only option. I'm sure the geniuses here have seen plans somewhere.

I know you say you intentionally left out a TV but I'd still get a cheap LCD to wall mount for viewing while shooting pool.

I remember reading somewhere that a topper on a pool table would be too high.

Great looking cave! x's 100 that there needs to be a girl on that pole.

Definitely too high, and too wide as well.

Nice setup man, but what's with the "We Can Do It" pic on the wall? :D

Thank you all for the kind replies. Was going to go for an oblong poker table, but was not sure how it would fit. Then I got the smaller table for a great price (free) which after a whole lot of stapling and cutting of fake fur looks the part and works just fine for euchre.

The stripper pole does get the most comments when folks see the room for the first time. Although the stage is a bit small, the pole is very solid, stainless steel and works really well. Not to mention very cheap and easy to build.

As for the “Rosie the Riveter” sign, I always liked the image and besides, the lady who thought it would look nice on the wall is the same who suggested I put in the stripper pole.

You sir are my hero. Anyone who has a stripper pole in his cave is alright by me.
