I haven't posted in awhile, because I spent the summer traveling the country. I also recently got married on Aug 29th and added some new things to my man cave, such as incorporating my wife's stuff into the room. She's kind of a sci-fi geek like me.

Also, I am starting a business with a friend, and needed a new larger work station, which went into the room.

I just wanted to share my flickr link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikekey82/sets/72157616147081833/ to view the whole set.

A couple new snapshots:

You can see the addition of my wife's Hess truck and star wars book collection to the Man Cave. I need something new to hang up, I took down the two original posters. I also installed lighting which isn't turned on in the photo, under the shelve.

My New Desk and workstation setup, featuring two 24inch LCD's and my hackintosh. Now I just need to get something on the wall, thinking of shelving.

Got rid of the old couch, and in the process of updating our posters to our favorite movies. A Star Trek poster will replace the Godzilla one soon. Also need to find something to display on my corner shelf. (Those are my rock climbing shoes if you are wondering, btw)

If anyone is a reader of lifehacker.com, I just submitted a couple new pictures hoping to get featured in their "Featured Workspaces"

:D I still have some more things I want to do, like replace the crumy carpet with laminate flooring. I am also still looking for what to do with the main wall, and still need to upgrade the lighting.

She had a huge collection of Hess Trucks, and I'm already a sci-fi geek, not a Star Wars nerd like her, I just like sci-fi in general, but what better place to put her Star Wars collection anyways and make her feel like it's our home. :p Eventually when we get a real house, I have to build three rooms, she wants her own study, we want a theater room, and I will need a new man cave.

How easy was it to build the Hackitosh? I've been debating building one. Did you use the EFI-X usb chip or just the hacked version of Leopard from the Ox86 project?

Just buy one already build with a copy of mac osx, it's $400 or so and you'll cut the headache... http://www.psystar.com/

I own a real iMac and previously had powerbook / macbook pro and I won't say you'll get as much as you'd have with a real one but it's better than a pc that's for sure.
