Hey all, cool place. Its a little ways off but Im planning on building a shed this Spring/Summer so I figured I'd sign on. Just a hobbie shop really but a place to work on old bicycles (I collect them) but with some cave options too.

16 x 28 shed
- w/heat & a/c
- tool/parts cabinet
- bicycle display
- work bench
- fridge/pop machine
- EM pinball machine
- some kind of stereo set-up
- dart board
- seating for loungin

I like tinkering so Im hoping to find an old glass bottle soda machine for beer/soda to fix up. For now I just plan on getting a "player" condition pinball machine but I hope to build a custom down the road. I thought mabye just a van bench seat for some place to sit my ass would work. I havent decided if I'm gonna use a garage door or just some double doors, Im thinking a garage door would get annoying fast for some reason. Jukeboxes are cool but I dont think I want to give up the room for a real deal jukebox ... any suggestions?
P.S. .... Im a cheapskate.

Welcome to the mayhem. If you're able, post some pics of your project when you get started.
Their is alot of knowledge here with the peeps involved.

how tall for the ceiling? can you store some of the bikes overhead? would then give you more options for mancave ideas.

pics will come as i get em, forums are always better with pics

initially planned on a 8 ft ceiling with attic storage but ive been playing with the idea of making 1/2 the ceiling open to hang some bikes up and out of the way but still in sight and accessible.

Bratwurst has a thread on here somewhere about his jukebox. It was basically an old computer that played mp3s, but he set up it up with buttons like an old school juke box. It's smaller than a "traditional" jukebox, might be worth looking into.
