So spent the better part of the last 3 days building this playset for my kids. As you can see it freakin poured last night.

I got it from Totem, made by a company called Playstar. They come in a box with all the hardware, and whatever plastic pieces you want, but you have to cut and drill all your own lumber.

A couple of pieces were on back order, but it's pretty much done. I'll wait till the spring to get some good sand, or pea-gravel in for a base, and a border and bench too i think.

I figured since we live out in the country, it'd keep my kids busy. They're 6,3 and 1.5, so they should get a lot of use out of it.

They'll love it - I built one for my kids - they play on it all the time. I might add on to it this winter.

That's a nice setup
We had to go low budget, picked up a set from someone for $75
Climbing setup, seperate 4 position swing & 6x6 sandbox
Replaced a few boards, bought a new cover, binocs, steering wheel, handrails, truck full of sand, old hut tub cover for sandbox to keep the cats out, new swings & trapeze this year...less then $300 all together
Then bought a used castle $20, another free swing & free see saw
2x2 skylight to block off one opening
Amazing what people get rid of on Craigslist
I actually want one of those circular tube slides for the pool
Wife said it was too big
He said hurry up & get 'er done

I'm planning on adding on to it...maybe
But also thinking of a tree fort by the stream
This pic is from 1st year, still need a new rope ladder

Damn Dave!
Got wood!?!
Nice winter stockpile you got there.
That's actually from last year..about 75% was burned off heating the house
Then I split more & restacked...about the same pile for this year
And I have a large dead Oak that has to come down
Haven't turned the heat on yet here....trying to burn off the old wood to make room for the Oak
That big beige conatiner is full of kindling
I'm picking up pallets now for kindling too
