Manland North's Garage: More Neons Than Vegas!

Hey, guys:

Thought I'd share a few pictures of my garage. It's called, "Manland North" and it is 1/3rd of a three-car garage in northern California. I just celebrated the second anniversary of my cave on Labor Day. Two years ago, this space was filled with lawn mowers, weed eaters, x-mas crap, etc, etc.

Manland started with an old couch, a chunk of old carpet, a 32" TV that I hooked up to the cable running into the garage, a dartboard, and a beer fridge. Fast forward two years and thanks to hours of searching ebay, craig's list and garage sales and I have a neon-filled beer haven.

I made the custom pub table with Manland logo from an old countertop and a single steel leg from Ikea. The garage door was installed with a kit from Lowe's that I custom painted yellow and black for a checkerboard pattern.

I added the corrugated metal dividers and installed in-wall speakers for 5.1 surround sound. Add two TVs and some good football or hockey games, and it's a kick-ass place to party.

No, I work for an air charter company. Pratt sent the decals. I gave the other decal to my brother and he put it on his lifted Toyota FJ. He gets serious looks with that decal on the side!

I bought round hobby magnets and just place the bottle caps on each magnet. Since the caps are steel, they stick.

As for the TV ... I'm workin' on it! The one I have right now was a gift from by bro. I was worried about putting a flat screen in the garage because the temps hit 120 in the garage in the peak of the Summer. So far the TV has held up well, so I may go with a bigger flat screen or possibly a projector.

I wonder how temperature sensetive they are. We are at the opposite endo of the spectrum when it comes to temps. I wnana put a flat screen in the garage but dont want to have it freeze!
Go projector and ya can move it in and out. I love mine!

The red lights are rope lights from Home Depot. They sell them in various lengths.

I would most likely aim the projector towards the garage door, so I would need some type of projection screen or sheet, etc.
