Thanks, I started it around September of last year picking away at parts of the 2 rooms as the $$$$ would allow. I got serious about it this March when I got the tax return back. It's still a work in progresss.

I like the hose monkey theme. :-) Lots of my buddies are cops. I hope you're not too offended by the term of endearment!

Great looking room.

Awesome job in what you've done there!
I really like that bar and the recessed lighting in the underside of it on the bartender side.

Very nice, welcome to the forum, and great job on your man cave! Looking forward to seeing more progress as you stated it was a 'work in progress'.

Thanks,

There were a handful of the Brothers in Blue in attendance for the grand opening. I guess it makes them feel like real men to drink in a Fireman's bar...

Pretty sweet, love the brick wall.

Have you thought about replacing the drop in ceiling tiles with drop in tin panels?

Very nice I have a few questions for you. How far is it from the back wall to the front of the bar top? How long is it?
Im having a ton of trouble planning what I want to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I was kind of skeptical on the faux brick at first. I had a vision of how I wanted it to look, then once I put the first panel up I remember asking my self "WTF am I doing?" But after it all sort of "came together" it's really grown on me.

I looked at some different styles of tile, but cost came into the mix, and I wasn't sold on not having the ceiling consistent throughout the basement.

I had the same issues... I knew I wanted a straight kegger bar, but I knew the 8' one in the plans would be too short. So I waited until I demo'd the existing wall and framed in the new walls before "designing" the space. I drew out the room using Microsoft Visio, then taped off the floor with blue painters tape as to how I wanted it to look. That's when I decided to modify the 8' bar to 11'. The bar is about 40" from the back wall. I felt the room was a tad too small to give up more space and add a traditional bar back. I was also restricted by the existing door from the old room. Overall it's about 7.5' from the brick wall to the front of the bar.
