I'm slowly getting rid of some books that I've already read. I've given away a few to friends, but since this one is a poker book I'll put it up here.

The Biggest Game in Town by A. Alvarez (http://www.amazon.com/Biggest-Game-Town-Alvarez/dp/0811834344)

Kind of outdated but fun historically about poker and the big games in Vegas.

Free to the first person* who wants it, I'll ship it to you. PM your address.

*must live in the US.

More poker/gambling/other books maybe to come in the future.

I'll take it, and pass it along when done if anyone else wants to give it a try...

I was just about to say yes, but I have it too. Not a great book but alot of interesting things about the WSOP origins.

I've got Gus Hansen's Every hand, anyone want that?

I got the book from Brat the other day. Once I'm done with it (it's second in line behind Nelson Demille's 'The Gold Coast'), I'll pass it along.

Done. It's shipping out to Syklopz today.

Like Brat said in the first post, it's a bit outdated (specifically about the WSOP during the early 80's), but still an interesting look at many of the really 'old skool' players. Learned a few things about Doyle Brunson that I didn't know.

Thanks, Brat!

I'll take either book, as long as they don't fucking suck cock like The Road by Cormac McCarthy. If they are somewhat entertaining and/or upbeat....unlike The Road....I'll be able to work my way through them.
