One of my projects for next year is probably going to be a few raised planter beds for herbs and chili peppers and other such things. I was looking across the web for ideas/plans for some and came across this one. I figured I'd share since I know a few others are thinking of making some.

Those are super nice. I went with the basic 2X8's screwed together. They work well, and after two years the YP PT is holding up very well.
Make sure to post pics when done!

Yeah those are really nice - I'd reserve something like that for a focal point in the yard, unless you have the extra $$$ to be throwing around, then more power to you. :D

2X12 screwed into squares.

2X12 if you plan on having the plants self contained in the boxes (IE, on top of concrete), 2X8 or even 2X6 will work if you have decent soil that the roots can grow into.
