I saw this compressor/gun combo at Home Depot this afternoon and it looks like good buy. It's a Porter Cable 150psi/6 gallon air compressor and 3 different guns for $299. Here is a link http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100497650

Does anyone have any experience with the Porter Cable compressors/guns? Is this a good buy?

Thanks.

Very good / top quality stuff.
I'd spend my money on it if I were looking for a compressor / air nailer / stapler.
I've never heard anything bad about PC tools.

I have the older version of this combo package (mine came with the brad & finish nailer, no stapler), it's awesome. Very versatile and portable - I've used mine for stapling poker table rails, molding installation, and some smaller wood working projects, no problems or jams. If you think you'll ever need the nailers/staplers, it'll be cheaper through this combo than getting them separately later. The compressor typically runs about $180, and the guns from $80-150 each, so it's a good deal. You'll occasionally see this on sale for $20-40 cheaper (maybe wait until next weekend, it may be on sale for memorial day), but overall it's a good deal.

Around Christmas a couple years ago, I got a 5 gun combo package for $350. You can't go wrong.
