Morning gents,

I was finishing up work on some home renovations last night and thought of an idea for a new thread that may be useful for the DIY'er building a mancave: Tool reviews.

I know there are reviews scattered elsewhere on the interwebs, but I think having the opinions of those who've been working on these types of projects would be valuable. The reviews can be individual threads, and then once we get a few going, we can have a main sticky thread with links to all of the reviews (like we have with the OT interviews). Don't know whether they should go in this forum or the main mancave forum though. I'll volunteer to keep the thread up to date if you'd like.

What say the masses?

Thats looks like the same miter saw i bought a couploe years ago or so. I love it. Got mine at Home Depot for around $100 maybe? I cant remember how much it was now.

I havent had any problems with it.

I would give it 4.5 out of 5 Swanky's.

Hmmm... I like the idea.... let's throw them in here for now, and if we get enough traffic on them, then we can figure out if a sub forum is in line.

Cool. Definitely wasn't looking for a new sub-forum - I'm a KISS fan, IMHO the more sub-forums you have the faster you loose the casual user looking for info. I was just looking to see if these should go in "Design, Plan and Build the Perfect Man Cave" or "Other Projects Indoors or Out". I'd prefer to just have a simple main linky thread that I can update as we get reviews in. I'll get one up and maybe post a quick "reviews wanted" post in the OT to see if we can stir up some more reviews.

Yes, we can do it much like the interrogations.

I'd rather not do it that way because I think it'll get fragmented and tough to follow. You have one review, then a bunch of questions/comments, then another review, etc. I'd rather it be like this:
