Wifey and I medaled both beer we sent in to the years first competition. I medaled two others last year, but never won a category. Pretty excited. Next time I will make sure I don't enter the same two beer in the same category against each other!

These were the only two lagers I have ever brewed. I built a RIMS system, and have been using it for 9 months. I wanted to test it, figured the best test was baselining a couple of real light MACRO Lagers. Evidently, the system is good to go.

Now I am back to my regular schedule of bitters, APAs, and IPAs.

Same two beer, different competition (Best Florida Beer competition), one finished 2nd, one third.. But this time they flipped their order.. hummphh.. I will send one off to AHA comp, but now i don't know which one to send.
