Please don't make me turn in my man card. I'm plotting my way to a new HDTV. :)
I finally finished our laundry room project I started a year ago. I bought the wifey a new washer 2 years ago and a matching dryer last year. We stacked the unit to make room for a second refrigerator (for beer and meat :))
My wife was gone for the weekend and my neighbor finally parted with the fridge he kept talking about getting rid of on saturday. So I spent a few hours patching walls, painting and finishing things up. It was a nice surprise for her.
We started with this mess (dec 20 '07)- the crappy wire shelves the previous owner installed wouldn't allow the door to fully open

I had some help tearing out the shelves above the washer/dryer. I had to make room to stack the new dryer due to arrive in a couple days for Christmas.

I hung some new cabinets and then the project stalled out. :( And sat that way for a year.... We had a new neighbor invite us to a housewarming party and he said he was going to toss out his garage fridge to make room for a workbench. I said I was in the market for a 2nd fridge. Well 6 months later he finally said he was ready to get rid of it. I paid him $150 - it's only a few years old. I painted, put in a new light fixture to match the hallway and moved my reverse osmosis filter around.
The end result is great. The fridge works great, ice maker and all.

And the coup de grace: The neighbor doesn't like this so he gave it to me to get rid of it. All 14 bottles! :)

Wish me luck on my quest to a new TV!
